Riaz is a entrepreneur both in academia and practice, dedicated to improving the world for all of the people who live in it. Motivated by that drive, Riaz has endless curiosity. He earned a masters degree in patient safety and healthcare quality and a doctoral degree in Health Policy in the United States after completion of his professional degree in medicine in Bangladesh. His deep knowledge of medicine, healthcare quality management, patient safety, and health policy, combined with long involvement in government and academia, gives Riaz unique insight as a healthcare entrepreneur in any area..
Stephen Perret
PhD, MBA
Dr. Steven Perret has served as president of his family business based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, While serving as President, Dr. Perret has expanded his business to four offices throughout Southeast Louisiana. In recognition of that achievement, he was a recipient of LSU's TOP 100: Fastest Growing Tiger Led Businesses Award in 2011.
Dr. Perret earned a Master of Business Administration degree at Louisiana State University, Master of Science and Ph.D. in Leadership & Human Resource Development, In combination, these degrees focus on two aspects of an organization: the management of operations and the management of human capital, giving him a depth of understanding and insight into both aspects.

He understands public health practice as being more than sitting in front of your desktop and developing concepts--it’s all about striving for excellence in solving real-world problems. Over the past 9 years, he has worked for the betterment of community health. He is equally comfortable with organizational leadership, stakeholder engagement, knowledge translation and report writing for diverse audiences, and partnership development. With solid experience in research and project management, Mridul can help to make a major impact for clients focused on disease surveillance, vaccine equity, health program evaluation, and primary health care.
